Any new upcoming episodes?

Hi, guys and gals! Is anything being worked on by way of future episodes?

Hey Barbara,

Yes, we're still working on Nightfall and Out of Time. We had a major setback, since we were out of an animator for a while. Now, the CGI is starting up again (slowly). For Nightfall all composition work has finished (a.k.a. green screen work), Out of Time has had some shooting days, but that one is still in preproduction / production. New recording weekends are being planned.

Because of the CGI stuff I cannot give you estimates on when a new episode can be expected.

Thanks for that. I wasn't looking for an estimate of release time. I think that giving estimates is a big mistake for a fan film, since it puts the pressure where it shouldn't be... on goals other than quality. I like to think my website demonstrates that there is no shortage of Fan Trek. There can never be enough QUALITY fan Trek, though!

I do ask this question, and from time to time the answer comes back, "We are no longer working on a new episode," so I know, that the project is complete, or if not complete, on hold or abandon.

I look forward to your next release, which I hope will come when you feel it is ready, and not a moment sooner!

Hey Barbara,

Haha, I don't feel such a pressure to lower the quality in favor of the production speed. Though, imho, Nightfall takes way too long. You can always ask any questions about the production, you might find we're quite fast in responding even though the forum isn't as populated as it used to be.
